Where in the World is Barry?

 

With the need to stay socially distant and Happy Dollars taking place on Zoom, we haven't been able to keep up with all the exciting stuff our Fun Clubbers are doing! So here's a quick Member Update from our own Barry Harter on where he and his wife, Brenda, have been this summer! 
 

The summer has been so exciting, fruitful, and relaxing!  I really miss being with all the Rotary Folks. However, Kurt Nelson, Steve Rutz, Mike Tallering, Jim English, Richard Curtis and Daniel Conrardy have all played golf each week, wearing our Fun Club Golf Shirts that Kurt bought everyone. So cool!!!

 

My garden has been producing all year and getting ready now for Winter Gardening.  Feel free to stop over anytime and check out my harvest.

 

Brenda and I have done two trips this year. We spent 16 days with Brenda's mom and parts of my family in Indiana. Always a pleasure to see cousins, nieces and nephews. Attended my Grand Niece's wedding on her father's farm. Hope to send some pics.

 

Just returned from an impromptu week long road trip to Sun Valley, Idaho. Beautiful drive to Pendelton, Oregon, into Sun Valley for a few days. Played Cloud 9 Golf Course, which was located at Sun Valley Lodge. The absolutely most beautiful course ever. The mountain views were stunning and overwhelmingly gorgeous! Drove to Stanley, Idaho, to lodge along the Salmon River which is a wild scenic river with backdrop of the Sawtooth Mountain Range. Cruised up to Lolo Hot Springs Lodge for soaking and sleeping. Watched the Seahawks win in the Lolo Lounge. There was no internet except in the Lounge. The next day, drove US 12 which was 199 miles of curves and mountain passes into Lewiston, Idaho. The scenery was unbelievable breathtaking. Highly recommend that road trip on US 12! Our final day was driving through the Palouse and ending up at Suncadia Resort for a beautiful day of golf, excellent dining and deluxe accommodations.

 

Brenda and I are so grateful for our family and friends. Remember your health is your wealth!
