Those who know Val know that there is not a more deserving Rotarian! Val's contributions to Fidalgo Island Rotary and District 5050 have been numerous since she joined Rotary in 2003, and usually, her work is behind the scenes, so it's hard to say what aspect of the club or district she HASN'T had an impact on! Val is instrumental each year in producing Fidalgo Island Rotary's two largest fundraising events, its auction and Shipwreck Festival. She served as FIR president from 2009-10, Assistant District Governor from 2012-15, and District Grant Chair from 2016-19. She is a Paul Harris fellow many times over, and serves on several club and district committees, as well as current secretary for FIR. Furthermore, Val is the number one resource for club, district and general Rotary questions - when in doubt, ask Val! We are so lucky to have such a fabulous Rotarian in our club. Thank you for all you do, Val!
