On Nov. 11, members of Fidalgo Island Rotary Club spent the morning completing yard work at the Anacortes Police Station. About a dozen members of the local service club volunteered their time to weed, rake leaves, trim hedges and pick up trash outside the building. In addition, members who could not attend the yard work session dropped off cookies and other baked goods for the law enforcement team to enjoy when they returned to work on Thursday, Nov. 11 (the building was closed in observance of Veteran's Day.)
Thank you to all who came out to volunteer and made treats for our local law enforcement! Click to see more photos of our volunteers hard at work!
