On Tuesday, Dec. 10, Marty Peace from the La Conner Rotary Club attended our morning meeting to update our membership on the happenings in the IPA - International Project Alliance. The IPA was founded by our own Peter Martin ten years ago in an effort to combine Rotary Club resources to make a bigger impact in developing countries (Pssst - in 2022, Rotary International awarded Peter with the Service Above Self award, the highest Rotary award for an individual, for his work creating & furthering the IPA.)
Marty said the IPA's biggest need is for individuals to sponsor students. There are currently 78 students in need of a sponsor to continue their education. See the attached photo to participate!
